I've wanted to get Gareth Powell, author of 16 books and several shorter works, on my show for over a year and a half. We first met at Anne Corlett's Wifi-Scifi event online and I took the opportunity to get my hands on his newest work, Stars and Bones, as soon as it became available from the publisher. Today we talk worldbuilding, researching for a novel, and his relationship to American science fiction author J. Dianne Dotson. We also get to talk about winning the British Science Fiction Award (twice!).
