Show Notes

I first learned about Zen Cho when Amazon (always the faithful recommender of things to read! - lol) suggested I might like Black Water Sister. Well, Amazon isn't the king because they get things wrong. Indeed, I found the cover art for her novel to be extremely attractive and, once I'd read it, loved Black Water Sister. So much so, in fact, that I immediately asked Zen Cho, via her literary agent, to come on the show.

I'm so grateful we got to chat. I think you'll enjoy it a lot as well. Zen and I talked about writing about different ethnic backgrounds without being cliche, how worldbuilding works when writing in a contemporary setting, and how she mixed different religious backgrounds into her story, among other things.

To learn more about Zen, click HERE to go to her website, HERE to go to her Twitter feed, and HERE for Facebook. Finally, pick up a copy of Black Water Sister HERE.
